Il y a quelques mois, nous vous parlions du remake d’un film de Robert Wise, datant de 1951, The Day the Earth Stood Still .
Réalisé par Scott Derrickson, le film sortira le 10 décembre 2008 (visiblement deux jours avant les States) en Belgique.

Hello you lot! I’m sorry I didn’t get back here sooner. I’ve just been busy – big time – work and whatnot! And now it’s all out of date – news today, somebody’s used papers tomorrow.
Anyway, from what you’ve been posting, you’d like to hear that Keanu looked relaxed and happy – well yes, he did – very cool and very pretty and very happy. You know, I really think he was enjoying himself – far more of course when signing for fans and presenting the film than when posing for the press!
He looked a little worried when he arrived with the girl in the blue skirt and hippie scarf – if I’d known people wanted to know about her I would have asked her name and if she was going out with him but it would have been really rude. I was standing next to her in the cinema foyer with some of her friends and my family, waiting for Keanu to come back in from signing autographs outside. But I just didn’t feel I could or should ask her. I did think about it – too late now! But no – it’s not too late – she is Doraly Rosa! And she is very attractive and she was tiny – not fat or pregnant by my account. He had his arm around her when they arrived together and stood for photo’s.
I suppose I should start at the beginning. I got tickets as soon as I saw the links to the band’s website through IMDB that he was going to present this film. Then I followed the rumors that it wasn’t confirmed with a sad heart. But I’d read up about the film and decided we’d all like to see it anyway and it would be a good night out even if he didn’t come. (ha!)
But we had a wonderful time! When we got there I was a little shocked as it was a red carpet affair – I didn’t realise it would be so high profile. I asked a security guy about getting in past the barriers to collect our tickets and he said we’d have to wait until the previous film had started – this was the Spanish one with Penelope Cruz – she was there when we arrived – looking gorgeous!
We were told to come back in half an hour so we went to have a pint in the pub! When we got back my friend noticed a couple of long haired guys waiting next to us, it was the band! We wondered in, obviously alongside the band, and all hell broke loose! Photographers went mad and screaming started – it was weird.
We went to collect our tickets and then things got even louder – Keanu had arrived! Alongside the other high profile guests – Sarah Brown, Trinny Whatsit, Sasha Gervasi and a lovely looking girl – press took pictures of her but I don’t know who she was. Dark hair and fringe – very pretty – fur like jacket? Keanu posed for the pics with the band and then went to come in but heard calls outside and went back out to sign for some fans. He looked really happy to do it – actually ran back to the crowd smiling.
We waited a little, ignoring the security guys asking us to move on, and when he did come back in he was going to walk straight past us but I called out for an autograph, for my daughter and her friend, and he saw me and came back. That’s my daughter’s friend he’s looking at, holding her ticket and my pen – I told him he was a sweetheart for coming back and shook his hand! He did look right into my eyes and there was a question there – a bit of a “do I know you” look? But I just smiled and thanked him again. And then he was gone.
The film was brilliant! It made us laugh and cry. I still can’t believe I’ve been to the cinema with Keanu Reeves!!!!! He even sat in the same row as us, (albeit about 20 seats along!) My daughter and her friend sat at the front for a better view – I can’t watch films that close!
And the film was the best. “Anvil! The Story of Anvil”. Do go and see it or get hold of a copy if you can. I wish those guys so much luck and hope the film brings them money, fame and fortune. They just want to be able to make a living playing music and I know there are thousands of people out there who want that from life and make do with mundane jobs to live but I’d still like it for them. I also know that everyone can be a critic but maybe they could try a change of sounds – see if Robb Reiner or Glenn Gyorffy, the bass player, can sing for a change? (Maybe they did – I haven’t heard all the albums!) Robb Reiner the drummer can paint though – he showed some in the film and there was a guy in the audience who wanted to put some of his paintings in his gallery – but I didn’t catch the name of the gallery and would like to know it – I’d buy one!
They seemed so sweet and came across so well in the film, I’d watch them again, I’d watch the film again – their honesty and warmth shone through – maybe they should go into acting!
I bought a CD and a T-shirt – and Lips and Robb signed the CD. There was a gathering afterwards but we had to get home (on the last train) and weren’t on the guest list anyway! (Thirty years ago I’d have crashed it!)
I used to go to gigs all the time, about the same time as Sasha Gervasi if not before and think I’m a little older than him, so I guess that was in the late 70s. Apparently they played there in 1983. My husband was the bass player in a rock band years ago too. I remember when we had our first kid, he said as long as it doesn’t get in the way of his music he’d be happy! This film brought it all back. It was excellent!

Keanu Reeves will soon add a Bambi, one of Germany’s top media honors, to his trophy case.
The “Matrix” star will be honored in the best international actor category at the Bambi ceremony Nov. 27 in the German town of Offenburg near the French border.
Among the honorees will be Meg Ryan and local action hero Til Schweiger who, ironically, turned down a supporting role in the original “Matrix.”
Reeves’s latest, “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” opens in Germany on Dec. 11.

Keanu went to expensive restaurant in Moscow , and he got a bottle of vodka from a fan , and decided to check it out with some ppl he was with. It was emptied very fast and Keanu asked for another 3 bottles . They did not eat anything and quite soon they drank all 2 litres.
Keanu was only smoking in between.
He was happy and relaxed because official part of the visit was over and that he smiled for the first time since 2 days. He said "so at the end I saw Russian snow" (he said this while putting his foot on the table)

I saw Keanu Reeves at “La Méthode Cauet”
When I realized that KR was going to attend Cauet’s TV show, I right away wanted to attend the transmission recording. But it was full. The public places (70) already booked. Then I let my relations play and managed to obtain the mobile phone of Cécile de Ménibus (co-presenter of Cauet) assistant. On Wednesday evening I learned that this was ok, somebody will let me in …as Cécile’s VIP.
Not possible, I think I’m dreaming…am I going to see him again?
On Thursday evening Cécile‘s assistant called me again: 2 additional places for the show. I contact straight away my friends, KR fans, but no one can come. Then I call my friends, not fans of KR, they are also busy. Too bad, I will go alone. Friday arrives and I start stressing. I know that I will not be able to speak to him or to take pictures of him (forbidden on the set) but just the idea to see him anguish me.
Appointment place: 14h00 to the studio 107.
I am on time. I call my contact. I walk in front of everyone and here am I on the set. I try to ask questions about KR to the technicians. No KR. He is not yet in there, he must arrive later… maybe an hour. But I am reassured…it’s true he will be there!
The recording will start up. Cauet and Cécile arrive and they announce the guests. They are proud to receive the “Hero” of Matrix, Speed and Point Break. An American in Paris…LOL Jennifer Connelly…no one knows her. I notice myself that there is not too many fans of KR in the public. Except two pretty girls and me, the others came for Seal… I laugh at the girl sitting beside me, she is wondering who KR is … I cannot believe I have heard such a question…. I reply “the guy from Matrix” and she says "ah yes I think that I see who he is" but I think she doesn’t…..LOL
16h00: No news from Keanu. Cauet asks where the "Americans" are located. Somebody says that they are still to the Ritz and that they have interviews after interviews since this morning. Ok we will wait. I am fed up to wait and I would like to duplicate myself to the Ritz…LOL. All of a sudden, Cauet announces "They leave the Ritz and will be here in 20 minutes". Last recommendations to the public "it is necessary to do an excellent welcome to KR and JC, they must see that France likes them" … I won’t have to force myself… Can I scream? LOL.
And then few minutes later Cauet tells us "they just arrived, they need some minutes to prepare themselves and we will start up the recording". Cauet and Cécile stand up to go to greet them. They are behind a big white curtain. I hear Cauet saying "Hello I’m Cauet, nice to meet you" and some one to reply "nice to meet you too and thanks to you". I have a break down, I recognize THE voice, it is him. My stomach squeezes, my heart will stop, my hands become cold and wet…I feel stupid. Cécile goes back over the set and tells us "Girls, this guy is “canon”, he is a “bomb” and JC she is sublime and very thin". And there she tries to joke and removes her wedding ring while saying "too cute, this guy is too cute".
The bodyguards arrive and inspect the set. The black one (the one we can see on pictures) is huge and sturdy. And there I see Sheryl… first time that I see her in real life. I think I am dreaming. She has a serious look at the set then disappears again behind this curtain. I wish I could be that curtain…LOL
Cauet returns and give his last recommendations to the public. Cauet stands up in front of the curtain in order to welcome his guests. My body is shaking. We have to stand up to welcome them. My body is still shaking. Cauet announces them and the curtain opens. Oh my gosh, here he is, he is so beautiful, so elegant, I don’t know if I am dreaming, I have no idea where I am, I don’t know what I’m doing, I do not even applaud any more. I’m staring at him. I do not want to miss a crumb. He smiles (and what a gorgeous smile!). He seems happy, he seems well. He comes down slowly the five steps, a hand in the back of JC holding her well at his side. Yes she s also very pretty but extremely thin. She looks serious and he looks cool.
KR…so smart! He is dressed with a black suit, white shirt and black tie, with socks and black well waxed shoes. He did not shave, he has his beard. He is very very beautiful (Do I repeat myself). The interview will last around fifteen minutes with the movie trailer included. The questions are very basic ones and without big interest. Cauet asks him the meaning of his name. It was the first time I was hearing Keanu saying “a cool breeze over the mountains”…LOL Then Cauet insists on the Fact that KR comes very often to Paris. KR replies that he likes France then Cauet asks him what he thinks about the French women. He seems bothered, the question embarrassed him but he replies that he finds the French women charming, intelligent… We can feel that he does not know what to answer to this question. Cauet asks JC if KR will bring her to visit Paris or if he will bring her to a nice restaurant. She replies “not for the moment as we don’t have too much time for ourselves”. Too many interviews to do…. During the whole interview KR is nice, smiling. But when Cauet is speaking to him, he animates himself a lot, he often turns his head to the left then to the right, he crosses his legs and uncrosses them a lot…Is he shy? Embarrassed by the public around him? Is he nervous? I don’t know but he does not seem very comfortable. Keanu is Keanu!!!!
I am just at five meters in front of him, just next to the check screen that he consults time to time. Did he see me???? I don’t know, I believe that “yes he did” but I don’t know. On the other hand I don’t stop looking at him. I am “drinking” his words, I am “swallowing” his gestures, I am dreaming. The interview finishes. He gets up, does big "good-bye" with his hand. He jumps the stairs, he looks back for the last time, smiles and then disappears. This is the end. Back to earth now. I am very glad, I saw him again, he was very beautiful (again…LOL)and seemed to feel good.
I must apologize bacause I am having a total "black out" or almost total on the interview… I don’t even know if I listened well…please forgive me!
It is funny because after they left, everyone on the set looked a little bit strange…bizarre! Cécile was on a cloud but was moaning because she wanted to take a picture with him and she was not able to do it…. Even taking pictures with cell phones was not allowed… I imagine him just jumping in his car, on his way to some other interviews…. I had a great time. See you soon Keanu!

J’ai vu Keanu Reeves à la « Méthode Cauet ».
Quand je me suis rendue compte que KR allait passer chez Cauet, j’ai tout de suite voulu assister à l’enregistrement de l’émission. Mais c’était complet. Les places public (70) prises d’assaut. Alors je fais jouer mes relations et arrive à obtenir le portable de l’assistante de Cécile de Ménibus (co-présentatrice de Cauet). Le mercredi soir j’apprends que c’est ok on me laissera passer…en VIP de Cécile.
Pas possible, je crois rêver…vais-je le revoir ?
Le jeudi soir l’assistante de Cécile me téléphone à nouveau : 2 places supplémentaires se sont libérées. Je contacte mes amies fans de KR mais aucune ne peut venir. Alors je téléphone à mes amies pas fans de KR elles sont occupées aussi. Tant pis je vais y aller seule.
Le vendredi arrive et je commence à stresser. Je sais que je ne vais pas pouvoir lui parler ou le prendre en photo (interdit sur le plateau) mais juste l’idée de le voir m’angoisse.
Lieu du rendez-vous : 14h00 au studio 107.
Je suis à l’heure. Je téléphone à mon contact. Je passe devant tout le monde et me voilà sur le plateau. J’essaye de me renseigner auprès des techniciens. Non KR n’est pas encore là, il doit arriver plus tard…dans 1 heure. Mais je suis rassurée…il sera bien là !
L’enregistrement va démarrer. Cauet et Cécile arrivent et nous annoncent les invités. Ils sont fiers de recevoir le héros de Matrix, Speed et Point Break. Un américain à Paris…LOL
Jennifer Connelly…personne ne là connaît. Je m’aperçois qu’il n’y a pas trop de fans de KR dans le public. Excepté deux jolies jeunes filles et moi même, les autres sont venus pour Seal…autre invité. Je ris car la demoiselle à mes côtés me demande qui est KR … je crois rêver…. Je lui cite Matrix et elle répond « ah oui je crois que je vois qui il est »…..LOL
16h00 : Toujours pas de nouvelles de Keanu. Cauet demande où les « Américains » se trouvent. On lui répond qu’ils sont encore au Ritz et qu’ils enchaînent depuis le matin interviews sur interviews. Ok on attend. J’en ai marre d’attendre et j’aimerais me dupliquer au Ritz. Tout à coup, Cauet annonce « Ils quittent le Ritz et seront là dans 20 mn ». Dernières recommandations au public « il faut faire un excellent accueil à KR et JC, leurs montrer que la France les aime »…moi je vais me forcer…LOL
Et puis quelques minutes plus tard Cauet nous dit « ils sont arrivés encore quelques minutes de préparation et on démarre l’enregistrement ».
Cauet et Cécile se lèvent pour aller les saluer. Ils sont derrière un grand rideau blanc.
J’entends Cauet dire « Hello I’m Cauet, nice to meet you » et quelqu’un répondre « nice to meet you too and thank you ». Je craque, je reconnais la voix, c’est lui. Mon ventre se serre, mon cœur va s’arrêter mes mains deviennent moites…je me sens stupide. Cécile revient sur le plateau et nous dit « les filles il est canon, c’est une bombe et JC elle est sublime, super mince ». Et là elle fait mine de s’enlever son alliance en disant « trop canon ce mec trop canon ».
Les gardes du corps arrivent et inspectent le plateau. Le noir est immense et costaud. Et là je vois Sheryl… première fois que je la vois en vrai. Je crois rêver. Très sérieuse elle regarde le plateau puis disparaît à nouveau derrière ce rideau.
Cauet revient. Dernières recommandations au public. Cauet se met debout devant le rideau afin d’accueillir ses invités. Je tremble. Il faut se lever pour les recevoir. Je tremble. Cauet les annonce et le rideau s’ouvre. Oh mon dieu, il est là, comme il est beau, si élégant, je ne sais plus si je rêve, je ne sais plus où je suis, je ne sais plus se que je fais, je n’applaudis même plus. Je le fixe. Je ne veux pas en louper une miette. Il sourit. Il semble heureux, il semble bien. Il descend lentement les cinq marches, une main dans le dos de JC qui se tient bien à ses côtés. Oui elle aussi est très jolie mais extrêmement mince.
KR…quelle classe ! Il est habillé d’un costume noir, chemise blanche et cravate noire. Chaussettes et chaussures noires bien cirées. Pas rasé, il a sa barbe. Il est très très beau.
L’interview durera une quinzaine de minutes avec un extrait du film inclus. Les questions sont un peu basiques et sans grand intérêt. Cauet insiste sur le fait que KR viens très souvent à Paris. KR lui répond qu’il aime la France alors Cauet lui demande ce qu’il pense des Françaises. Il semble gêné, la question l’embrasse mais il répond qu’il trouve les Françaises charmantes, intelligentes. Enfin on sent qu’il ne sait surtout pas quoi répondre. Cauet demande à JC si KR lui a fait visiter Paris ou s’il l’a emmené manger dans un restaurant sympa. Elle répond non car ils n’ont pas trop de temps pour eux. Trop d’interviews à faire….
Durant toute l’interview KR est sympathique, souriant. Mais lorsque Cauet lui parle, il s’anime beaucoup, il tourne souvent la tête de gauche à droite, il croise et décroise se jambes sans cesse…timide ? Embarrassé ? Nerveux ? Je sais pas mais il ne semble pas très à l’aise. Keanu is Keanu !!!!
Moi je suis à cinq mètres juste en face de lui, juste à côté de l’écran de contrôle qu’il consulte de temps en temps. Il m’a vu ???? je ne sais pas, je crois que oui mais je ne sais pas. Moi en revanche je ne cesse de la regarder. Je bois ses paroles, j’avale ses gestes, je rêve.
L’interview se termine. Il se lève, fait de grands « au revoir » avec sa main. Il monte les
escaliers, se retourne une dernière fois, sourit puis disparaît. C’est fini. Retour sur terre. Je suis très contente. Je l’ai revu, il était très beau et semblait aller très bien. Désolée mais je fais un « black out » total ou quasi-total sur l’interview… je ne sais même pas si j’ai écouté…pardon !
C’est drôle mais après leur passage, tout le monde sur le plateau semble un peu mou…bizarre ! Cécile est sur un nuage mais râle car elle voulait faire une photo avec lui et n’a pas pu…. Même les photos par téléphone n’étaient pas autorisées…
Moi je l’imagine juste remontant dans sa voiture en route pour d’autres interviews….A bientôt Keanu !

Bambi Award is one of Germany’s top media honors
Keanu Reeves will soon add a Bambi, one of Germany’s top media honors, to his trophy case.
The "Matrix" star will be honored in the best international actor category at the Bambi ceremony Nov. 27 in the German town of Offenburg near the French border.
Among the honorees will be Meg Ryan and local action hero Til Schweiger who, ironically, turned down a supporting role in the original "Matrix."
Reeves’s latest, "The Day the Earth Stood Still," opens in Germany on Dec. 11.

Actuellement à Paris pour promouvoir son nouveau film The day the earth stood, l’acteur révélé aux côtés de Sandra Bullock dans le film Speed, en a profité pour faire une séance shopping dans les quartiers chics de la capitale : rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, tout d’abord, où on l’a aperçu sortant de chez Yves Saint-Laurent et chez les plus grands joailliers de la place Vendôme avant de rentrer les bras chargés de paquets à son hôtel.

Quand Keanu Reeves et Benicio Del Toro… s’amusent à Paris !
Keanu Reeves est arrivé hier soir à Paris avec Jennifer Connelly pour la promotion de leur film Le jour où la terre s’arrêta de Scott Derrickson. Les deux acteurs séjournent au Ritz jusqu’à demain.
A son arrivée, aux alentours de minuit, l’acteur de Matrix est allé dîner à l’hôtel Costes avec Benicio Del Toro — ils ont été vus en pleine rigolade — qui, quelques heures auparavant, avait planté le Grand Journal de Canal+. Mais pourquoi Benicio a-t-il fait une telle chose à Michel Denisot ?
D’après nous, deux possibilités : peut-être Benicio était-il contrarié du peu d’engouement des people pour assister à l’avant-première du Che ? Ou bien peut-être avait-il encore mal aux cheveux après la soirée qu’il a passée au Chacha mardi soir laquelle s’est terminée extrêmement tard (ou tôt le lendemain, comme vous voulez) ?
Toujours est-il que Benicio Del Toro a sans doute cru que le travail des maquilleuses du Grand Journal ne pourrait pas camoufler son état, contrairement à la lumière ultra tamisée de l’hôtel Costes…

L’acteur Keanu Reeves est à Paris depis hier. On l’a même vu traîner place Place Vendome dans les grandes bijouteries de la capitale. Aujourd’hui, il a fait un effort vestimenaire pour présenter le film de Scott Derrickson, "Le Jour où la Terre s’arrêta. Jennifer Connelly avait un sacré look.
