Keanu Reeves landed at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday afternoon (May 29) and, were it not for his swoon-worthy handsome/internationally famous mug, he could easily have faded into the crowd.  But, oh Keanu fans, not on our watch!  Keanu was returning from a recent trip to New York.  L.A. just got a little better looking.

Los Angeles (E! Online) – He may have crossed big-screen paths with Abe Lincoln, but the real-life Keanu Reeves is "certainly not more important than the president of the United States."
So said the lawyer representing a paparazzo who’s suing Reeves in arguing that there’s no reason to seal the actor’s upcoming deposition, per documents filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court

… A hearing on Reeves’ motion to seal his deposition is scheduled for June 9, while the case is set to go to trial Oct. 27…

Keanu Reeves Leaves Fan Peeved  Posted May 28th 2008 2:16PM by TMZ

Keanu Reeves was hounded by one fan in NYC yesterday. Too bad that fan, like the audiences of the "Matrix" sequels, was left greatly disappointed.

Keanu Reeves was spotted out and about in Manhattan today having lunch with a friend at the Trump Hotel.
The 43-year-old actor has been linked recently with Wynona Ryder but those rumuors have all but been squashed by those close to the pair.
Keanu seemed to be in good spirits on the sunny New York day sporting his signature work boots and jeans with his patchy scruffy beard that is beginning to be a bit grey.

These iconic photographs of Keanu Reeves were taken earlier today at The Trump International Hotel on Central Park West in New York City. Keanu had been spotted sipping red wine on the terrace of the hotel with a pal and looking delighted to see our paparazzo.
We are told that he is in town to film “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” and it is rumored to be dating actress Winona Ryder who is his co-star in the film, but we find all of that gossip rather boring. All we care about is the foto! We are not interested in the gossip, we want the imagery.
This what makes is business so exciting when you can just walk down the street in the greatest city in the work and not only run into, but to photograph of the the biggest stars in the world. No PR, no appointment, and no hair or make up. That is the only way to make and sell a provocative foto these days!

Here are photos of Keanu Reeves enjoying a smooth one during a lunch break in Manhattan. He is looking well for a 53 year old man… oh, sorry he is 43 years old.
Keanu Reeves is well known for donating a lot of the huge amount of money he earns to charity but obviously doesn’t care much about the environment. I don’t mean his smoking, have you ever smelled his breath? More heinous than "The Matrix Reloaded"

(Rires.)

But the story is false, according to Reeves’ rep.  “Not true,” the rep told Access Hollywood. “They’ve known each other for many, many years, and they’re shooting a film together.”

Sparks are flying between Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves on the set of the drama The Private Lives of Pippa LeeStarmagazine has learned that the two iconic stars have been spending lots of time in each other’s trailers.  "They are also always hugging on the set," says a source. "The chemistry is really electric".   They’ve gotten so close that during a break in filming in Connecticut, Winona, 36, relaxed with Keanu, 43, at his Manhattan pad. Stay tuned!

Note from Cali: Everybody knows that Winona had a crush on Keanu but "always hugging on the set" doesn’t mean anything else to me than "they are good friends".  They know each other very well as it is the third movie where they are reunited.  I hate when those "people magazine" are starting stupid rumours over and over again.  Leave Keanu alone, let him live his own life.

Inside the current issue of tasteless tabloid Star there’s a "news" item about how actors Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are getting romantic, embracing each other and spending lots of time together in their trailers on the Connecticut set of their film The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. That would be really interesting — if there was even one ounce of truth to it.
Well, technically it is true that both stars are filming this movie, but that’s where reality ends in this story.
First, one insider on the film confirms to OK! that there aren’t any trailers on the set for Keanu and his rumored lady love to retire to. And what about them getting cozy during their time together on the set? According to another source, the non-couple haven’t even been on-set at the same time, making it physically impossible for them to embark on a public hug-fest in front of the cast and crew.

The shooting began on 14 April and is expected to end early June. One of the producers describes the movie as “very smart, but also entertaining" in the vein of "’American Beauty’ with dark subject matter".
This comedy drama is Rebecca Miller’s fourth film, produced by long-time collaborator Lemore Syvan and Plan B’s Dede Gardner.
“The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” stars Robin Wright Penn in the main role. Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Alan Arkin, Julianne Moore, Monica Belluci, Maria Bello and Blake Lively (as Young Pippa) are also in the cast…

Let me start from the begining, all started with my new glasses.  I had the eyes examination on Wednesday morning and I knew that my glasses were not strong enough as I couldn’t read small characters anymore.  So during the eyes examination I asked the specialist if my problem was due to my PC, as I am an IS girl, I am working with a computer the whole day long.  The lady said: "no, no, it has nothing to do with your PC, you are just getting old".  Thank you for reminding this to me Madame !!!

I was terribly angry when I left her so I decided to go to the City to choose my new glasses.  I found lovely ones there and informed the lady that I needed progressive glasses to be able to see far away and to see closely (to read) so I gave her the prescription of the specialst.  I also told her that my daughter needed glasses too and Jordane chose nice black Dolce & Gabana glasses.  After that, the lady told me that she was going to check the total amount for the 2 glasses and would gvie us a reduction of 10%.  I was very happy to hear that and had a big smile on my face and when she gave me the total price I nearly had a heart attack !

800 Euros for my glasses and 356 Euros for Jordane’s glasses!  Jesus, I couldn’t speak anymore and I said "do you accept Visa card ?".  Fortunately she accepted it, pfeew.  Unbeleivable, it’s nearly the same price I paid for 2 weeks holidays, all inclusve, in Creta  in July !

As I was still in shock two days after, I needed some Keanu to comfort me so I decided to go to the theatre yesterday evening.  And that’s where my excellent adventure started.  After I bought my ticket, I asked the young girl at the entrance if it was possible to have a Street Kings poster.  This nice girl told me that I needed to ask this to her colleague "Chantal" who was standing next to the snacks.  So I went there and asked "are you Chantal ?".  She answered "Yes, what can I do for you ?".  So I told her that I had a Keanu Reeves fan site and was wondering if it was possible to have one or two Street Kings posters for Keanu’s fans.  You should have seen my face when she said "sure, just wait for me here, I will be right back with your posters".  When she came back she had two big posters for me and I had this stupid smile on my face.  I asked her if she wanted some money for this and she said "no, no, it’s free". Woaaaaah, I suddenly completely forgot the price of my glasses, I was floating on a cloud.

As the movie was going to start I rushed to room 4 and when I was just sitting down I realized that I was alone in the theatre, just me and Keanu on a big screen for two hours, sigh***  After 5 minutes a young couple joined me and when the film started another couple arrived, so we were 5 in this place.  I was so surprised to see that we were few people there on a Friday evening and I was so sad for Keanu.  I really thought that this movie would attract a lot of people.

To all Belgian people who will read this post: GO SEE IT !!!  It’s a wonderful movie.  It’s an exciting thriller which keeps you breathless until the surprising end.

In this movie the cops are more dangerous than the gangsters themselves and, after you watch it, you are questioning yourself: Is it better to kill the gangsters than putting them into jail if you are sure that they will be released a couple of weeks later ?  Does blood wash away blood ? Where is the border line that we cannot cross ?  Should we protect the cops when they cross the border line ? Should we violate the law to protect innocent citizens ?  That’s all around justice.

I want to highlight the great performance of Keanu Reeves in this movie. He had a dark and hard character and could handle it from the begining till the very end.  It’s probably the most difficult charcater he had in his career and now he can prove to the whole world that he is a great actor.

And for the people who still think he is wooden after watching this movie, they should do the same thing I did: BUY NEW GLASSES !

New York,

Keanu Reeves arrives at a commercial shoot at the Brooklyn Banks for Breast Cancer Awareness. Certainly the most random thing I’ve ever seen there. He was pretty chill.

Actor Keanu Reeves with Jillian Alps, general manager of the Heritage Inn in New Milford.

The general manager of the Heritage Inn on Bridge Street played hostess to film stars Keanu Reeves, Alan Arkin, Winona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn on Monday when scenes from the movie "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" were filmed in town.

The film crew rented four of the property’s 20 guest rooms for the day so the actors and actresses could relax between takes. All gave autographs and were gracious with the staff, said Alps, who couldn’t pass up getting her picture taken with Reeves.

"He was more than happy to sit down with us," she said, describing him as "easy going," "low key" and a "nice guy." "As soon as they walked in the door they shook hands. We had breakfast waiting."

It was the second time the bed and breakfast, a former tobacco warehouse and feed and grain store listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has hosted a movie crew. Last year producers and actors with "The Six Wives of Henry Lefay" stayed at the property during shooting in town…

Keanu Reeves has just been sucked deeper into a legal matrix.
A Los Angeles judge today shot down a motion by Neo’s alter ego to keep a paparazzo from seeking punitive damages for allegedly being dinged by the actor’s Porsche.
"There’s not a whisper of an accident here," Superior Court Justice Elizabeth Grimes said in her ruling.
Grimes stated that while shutterbug Alison Silva has yet to prove his case, it was too early to eliminate the option of punitive damages, particularly when a car is considered a deadly weapon under state law.
Punitive damages could substantially increase any payout Reeves would have to make, should he be found liable for purposely aiming his black 1996 Porsche 911 Cabrio at Silva last spring.  It will be up to a jury to figure it out, when the trial kicks off Oct. 27.

Keanu Reeves is going where Lindsay Lohan’s gone before to get out of some car trouble.
Reeves has hired the law firm of La Follette, Johnson, De Haas, Fesler & Ames, the same legal eagles who successfully defended Lohan in her infamous 2005 busboy smashup, to represent him against a paparazzo who claims he was dinged by the Matrix star’s ride more than a year ago.
Reeves’ previous lead lawyer, Jeffrey Redd, bailed on the case last week. The Lohan-approved team had signed on last month to assist Redd in the case, but now will run point.
The new attorneys will make their debut Monday, when both sides are due in court for the first hearing in the case. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth A. Grimes is slated to rule on Team Keanu’s motion to strike the photographer’s punitive damages claim.
Photog Alison Silva filed the suit last November, initially alleging negligence; he later amended his complaint, adding allegations of assault and battery against Reeves…
