Hey gang,

 

I contacted the Fox UK and Fox BE to ask the permission to add the Street Kings International trailer on my webspace and today I got the answer: YESSSSS !

 

I also received an important information from the Fox regarding the release date of Street Kings in Belgium which is May 14th, 2008 (and not June 25th as previously announced).  This is subject to changes so I will keep you informed if it is postponed.

…  spotted my first celebrity (maybe I will go look for more!) The Oscars are in LA on Sunday I think, so they are making their way here. Keanu Reeves was on my flight from Vancouver to here, and sat directly across the aisle from me….

Aaron Douglas, best known as everyone’s favourite flight-deck mechanic on “Battlestar Galactica”, has snagged a role in “The Day the Earth Stood Still” remake, opposite Keanu Reeves… Douglas joins Reeves, Jaden Smith, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, John Cleese, and Lorena Gale for the film, due out later this year.

Thanks to VARIETY.COM, Alan Arkin, Monica Bellucci, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Keanu Reeves have joined the already starry cast of Rebecca Miller‘s "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee."

 

Pic, which is produced by Elevation Filmworks and Brad Pitt‘s Plan B Entertainment, already features Julianne Moore and Winona Ryder. Robin Wright Penn stars as a dutiful wife whose husband falls for a younger woman, freeing her to explore her buried sensuality and leading to "a very quiet nervous breakdown."

 

Reeves will play Wright Penn’s younger lover, while Gyllenhaal plays Wright Penn’s diet pill-addicted mother in flashback sequences.

The film is scheduled to begin principal photography in April in Connecticut.

Ludlow teams up with a young Robbery Homicide Detective to track the killers through the various communities of Los Angeles. Their determination pays off when the two Detectives track down the murderers and confront them in an attempt to bring them to justice. Common plays Coates, a heroin dealer from Belize posing as an undercover cop and one of the many Los Angeles natives that Ludlow must deal with. No word yet on The Game’s role but we will have more details soon including a trailer…

After months and months of people not in the know asking me “Is Keanu Reeves in Watchmen?”, Fox Searchlight Pictures has finally realized their upcoming film The Night Watchman posed a marketing challenge which was sure to create confusion in consumers, especially with buzz growing for the Warner Bros/Zack Snyder adaptation of Alan Moore’s epic superhero tale Watchmen.

 

So Searchlight have decided to do the right thing and rename the film “Street Kings”.

… Tuesday and Wednesday I’m going to be in a movie with Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly and Kathy Bates.  It’s called "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and it’s a remake of a 1950′s sci-fi movie.  I’m going to be in an action scene where I’m evacuating right before some big disaster.  So I have to bring some props like things I would bring if I was quickly grabbing stuff from the house and leaving in a hurry.  It’s supposed to be set in NYC, however, they’re filming in Vancouver…

… Anyway… I’ll post again when it’s over and tell you all about it!

 

Let’s hope she will post something soon, can’t wait for her comments.

So, of course, Reel Girl was there and cornered him. Turns out he’s got another reason to celebrate, as well: The Night Watchman…

… Story is straight up, grisly and appealing: L.A. cop (Keanu Reeves) becomes widowed and framed. And Chris, who plays a fellow cop, just saw the rough cut. "It’s a lot more violent than I expected," he said. Which is, of course, very good news because that means the movie is faithful to the book…

In France on June 25th, 2008 (so I hope we will have it at the same time in Belgium)

In Germany they will have it sooner: on April 17, 2008.

And of course in USA, the release date is April 11, 2008, lucky American fans
