Here is the first movie still from The Night Watchman, scanned from a German publication.
Vancouver police say they will meet with the association to discuss security and safety issues following the shootings.
Two men were shot to death Saturday night as they arrived in a black Land Rover at the upscale Gotham steakhouse in the 600-block Seymour.
Gotham’s general manager, Chris Langridge, said those inside the restaurant, including film star Keanu Reeves, left their $50 steaks on the tables as they were cleared from the building by police.
"It was impressive, how guests co-operated. The police response was incredible," said Langridge.
One of the patrons, a member of Scarpino’s party, dropped a gun as he was being checked by police.
Langridge said it is too early to tell what the effect will be on business. Gotham re-opened the following day.
"Some people called to find out if we were operating. It was a busy Sunday night. I wouldn’t say people came to look," said Langridge.
Gotham is the fourth Vancouver restaurant to have been affected by gangland hits in the past six months.

You better start getting used to a new Smith family member showing up in huge, big-budgeted flicks. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Jaden Smith (who plays Will Smith’s son in real life) has signed on to co-star in the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still for 20th Century Fox. And yes, he’ll be doing so without Pops in the scenes with him, as we saw last year when both Smith family members starred opposite one another in The Pursuit of Happyness. This time, Jaden Smith will play the 8-year-old stepson of scientist Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly). HR confirms that Kathy Bates and Jon Hamm will also star off a script written by David Scarpa, while Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) directs.
Director Scott Derrickson got two weeks of filming in before the holidays with Keanu Reeves, Kathy Bates and Jennifer Connelly. Filming on the sci-fi remake continues until mid-March.

Not that it means anything, but I happened to see Keanu Reeves in the lobby of the Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Vancouver tonight, before and after he took in a screening of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Keanu has been in town for the past month or so playing Klaatu in
Scott Derrickson‘s remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951; my comments), and for some reason the first thing I paid attention to was his hair. You never know, with sci-fi movies, whether the actor is going to have to shave his head or grow a goatee or whatever. But Keanu looked like Keanu, and that was that.

Airport security was taking their job very seriously at LAX as they attempted to block cameras from filming the "Matrix" star Keanu Reeves. Where’s Morpheus when you need him?

Heya,
I know that most of you already have a real picture of Keanu’ star but, beleive me or not, I didn’t have one as I have never been to LA and then never had the chance to take a picture myself (if I was a rich girl, lalalalala…, *sigh*).
Some time ago I got a nice message from a Keanu fan called Bonnie, she is from Las Vegas, she told me that she was going on holiday to LA and she asked me if I needed something. (so touching, it went straight to my heart). And you know what ? She was kind enough to take a picture of the star on the Walk of Fame and she sent it to me (check the picture here below). So today I want to send special thanks to her.
